TraMOOC will be present at the Translating Europe Forum 2016 to be held on 27 and 28 October 2016 at Brussels, Germany. The #TranslatingEurope Forum brings together translation stakeholders in Europe to discuss topics of common interest such as skills, employability, professionalisation, quality, tools, and to promote cooperation between stakeholders.
TraMOOC was present at the 11th International Workshop on Semantic and Social Media Adaptation and Personalization (SMAP 2016) which was held at Thessaloniki, Greece from the 20th till the 21st of October 2016.
TraMOOC will be present at the 11th International Conference on Language Transfer in Audiovisual Media to be held between November 2–4, 2016 at Berlin, Germany. Yota Georgakopoulou (DME) and Vilelmini Sosoni (IURC) will be speaking on Crowdsourcing for the Creation of Parallel Translation Corpora: The Case of TraMOOC.
On the 27th of September 2016 the TraMOOC Consortium conducted successfully the M18 mid-term review meeting in Luxembourg where the progress performed during the first half of the project was presented to the European Commission Project Officer and the EC reviewers who provided their valuable feedback to the TraMOOC partners.
